2026 World Series Odds: Brewers,
It won't be an easy fix to get the Toronto Blue Jays back to the World Series. Our @Ethan_Miller27 has more on what is necessary for them to expedite the process: https://www.justbaseball.com/mlb/toronto-blue-jays-quickest-path-back-to-contention/
Open on XYes, contrary to what dumb bandwagon fans say, he's the only manager that has brought this team to the world series in the past 33 years. Our '26 bullpen was ranked in the top 10 out of the MLB. And despite the injuries, the team went down fighting in September.
Open on XGuaranteed Canadian World Series winner!!!! But the Brewers make things weird. Rays - Liam Hicks Sox/Guardian - Tristan Peters/Cade Smith and Erik Sabrowksi Dodgers - Freddie Freeman *Brewers - need to call up Bo Naylor but Jim Henderson is on the coaching staff.
Open on XESPN's Buster Olney said they were going to win the World Series https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/50013110/mlb-playoffs-2026-insiders-postseason-predictions-dodgers-yankees-red-sox-brewers
Open on XThe only change is adding Weathers and removing Rosario. We thought they would only do 11 pitchers because the schedule allows it. That’s what they did in 2024 with the same ALDS schedule. Weathers is another lefty, which Tampa has worse numbers against and he adds length. We also thought they might leave Stanton off since he didn’t see any action in the wild card series. But with Rosario’s defense being unplayable on the turf and against the Rays, who force action, it renders Stanton and Rosario both as pinch hitters only, since Ben Rice is going to start every game at DH. And if it’s pinch-hit only, the upside with Stanton is still higher than Rosario, even though Stanton hasn’t played in ~138 games.
Open on X2 outs away from winning the WS and the Blue Jays signed this yrs Cy Young runner-up, one of the best non-closer RPs, the reigning KBO MVP, & Okamoto from the NPB who would lead the team in HRs in 2026. Ross is the LAST person I am blaming for this szn
Open on XAsked about expiring CBA, GM Ross Atkins says for the first part of the off-season, the Blue Jays plan for “business as usual” and will be “ready to go on day one” Atkins says support from ownership “allows us to be a little bit more nimble”
Open on XIf Toronto wins the 2026 Pro Baseball Championship, then the market resolves to Yes.
